What causes scratches on metal stamped parts?

1. There are scratches on the metal stamped parts. The main reasons for scratches on parts are: sharp scratches on the mold or metal dust getting into the mold. Preventative measures include sanding out scratches on the mold and removing metal dust.
2. The bottom of the part is cracked. The main reasons for cracking of the lower part of the part are: the material has poor ductility or the mold holder is pressed too hard. Preventive measures include replacing the material with a more plastic one or weakening the workpiece holder.
3. There are folds on the side walls of the parts. The main causes of folds on the side walls of parts are: insufficient thickness of the material (thinner than the minimum allowable thickness) or the upper and lower molds are installed eccentrically, resulting in a large gap on one side and a small gap on the other side. Preventative measures include immediate replacement of material and adjustment of shape.
4. Parts are not positioned high enough. The reasons for insufficient height of parts and measures to prevent them are as follows:
1) The size of the wool material is not enough for stamping metal parts. At this time, the size of the coat should be increased.
2) The mold gap is too large. At this time the shape should be trimmed.
3) The material of metal stamped parts has poor ductility. At this time, annealing treatment should be carried out or materials with better ductility should be replaced.
