What are the categories of processing technologies for metal stamped parts?

The processing technology of metal stamped parts can be broadly divided into two categories: separation process and forming process.
The separation process consists of separating stamped parts and blanks from each other along a certain contour line during the stamping process. At the same time, the quality of the separated section of stamped parts must also meet certain requirements, the forming process consists of causing plastic deformation of stamping blanks without damage and transforming them into the required shape finished product, and at the same time they must also meet the requirements of dimensional tolerances and other aspects.
Based on the temperature conditions during stamping, two methods are distinguished: cold stamping and hot stamping. This depends on the strength, ductility, thickness, degree of deformation and equipment capabilities of the material, as well as the initial heat treatment condition and end-use conditions of the material.
Metal stamping parts must be treated with anti-corrosion treatment during the production process to effectively avoid corrosion during use. The main methods are as follows:
1. Coating with asphalt paint, preheating the stamped parts before painting can improve the adhesion of asphalt paint and speed up drying.
2. Adding a special coating to the cement mortar lining can improve the corrosion resistance of the stamping parts lining.
3. Epoxy carbon pitch coating for metal stamping parts is a two-component coating that has strong adhesion and a very smooth surface.
4. Due to the complex manufacturing process and high cost, epoxy ceramic lining has certain limitations in use, has high adhesion and smoothness, and is an excellent anti-corrosion coating for stamped parts.
