What should you pay attention to when processing parts on CNC lathes?

1. Reasonable selection of fixtures: (1) try to use universal fixtures to clamp the workpiece and avoid using special fixtures; (2) The positioning reference points of the parts coincide with each other to reduce positioning errors. Define the route: The route is the path and direction of movement of the index-controlled machine relative to the part.
2. Pay attention to the selection of cutting amount. Three elements of cutting conditions on CNC lathe: cutting speed, feed amount and cutting depth directly lead to tool damage. As cutting speed increases, the temperature of the tool tip will increase, causing mechanical, chemical and physical wear. If the cutting speed is increased by 20%, the tool life will decrease by 1/2.
3. Reasonable choice of cutting dose. For highly efficient metal cutting, the three main elements are the material being processed, the cutting tools and the cutting conditions. They determine the processing time, tool life and processing quality. Economical and efficient processing methods must be based on a reasonable choice of cutting conditions.
4. CNC lathe machine operators must clearly read the contents of the process map before processing, clearly know the details, shapes and dimensions of the workpiece, and know the processing content of the next process.
5. Relationship between machining route and machining allowance: When CNC lathes are not yet widely used, excess allowance on the workpiece, especially the allowance containing forged and cast hard layers, should generally be placed on conventional lathes. If you need to use a CNC lathe for machining, you need to pay attention to the flexible layout of the program.
